No other form of health care embraces the volunteer as passionately as hospice. Volunteers are fundamental to hospice and are used in nearly all aspects of the program. Volunteer support are invaluable in the daily operations of the agency.

Patient/Family Volunteers
Being a hospice volunteer asks that one lay their cares down for a time and be there for another. Often, your presence is all that is needed. Many of our volunteers say, “I feel I have received so much more than I have been asked to do.”

Office/Event/HoBS Volunteers
Office volunteers play a vital role in meeting newsletter deadlines, bereavement mailing and other mailing.
Event volunteers assist with fundraisers and other community events.
HoBs volunteers are key to successful operation of our resale shop, which provides much needed financial support to provide quality end-of-life care.
